Overnight stays at Great Fosters
Great Fosters is a fine example of Elizabethan architecture set amongst 50 acres of stunning formal gardens and parkland. Probably built as a Royal hunting lodge in 1550 and very much a stately home since then, it is now a prestigious hotel. All the 43 suites and bedrooms at Great Fosters are individually decorated, some with four-poster beds, Persian rugs, gilt furnishings and damask walls, antiques and artefacts dating back hundreds of years.
Guests are accommodated in three separate buildings. The Main House, which dates from 1550, offers a choice of historic suites and bedrooms. The Cloisters, which is reached across a pretty courtyard, offers more contemporary suites and double rooms. The Coach House offers 11 modern junior suites and double rooms. All bedrooms throughout the hotel feature beds made with silk filled duvets and have complimentary tea & coffee and wi-fi.
